The 10th IPARD II Program Monitoring Committee, the mechanism that monitors the effectiveness and quality of the implementation of this Program, was held in Peza. The first Monitoring Committee of the IPARD III Program was also held, which determined important milestones for its development with even greater funding opportunities for Albania.
This committee, made up of representative farmer associations across the country, rural development organizations, public institutions and donors, gathered the ARDA and managing authority, under the direction of DG-Agri and the European Commission, to analyze the performance of the implementation of IPARD II. These structures as wells as the progress report of the EU commended the performance of the implementation of IPARD II. DG Agri and the European Commission said that they were proud of Albania’s positive progress in the absorption of funds.
All the implementation structures of this program are maximally engaged to advance the development of the sector and we thank all those farmers, agro-processors, investors in agriculture, who have become part of this program and have helped the common objectives for the development of agriculture.
